Beatriz Zolezzi and I had the very good fortune of receiving services from the excellent staff of Jordan Select while we were in Jordan from April 29 to May 5.
I am writing in particular to express my great appreciation for the services of Yasmin Aqil and Joseph Jaber.
In a way, Yasmin Aqil saved our trip. I had been working with a travel agent in Costa Rica for more than 2 months when it became obvious a two weeks before departure date that they did not have the experience (or the Jordanian connections) to complete our reservations. I found Jordan Select on the internet, read the great reviews and sent an email. Yasmin replied and her work was magnificent from the start. She always responded quickly with results or great suggestions, and good prices. Usually within a day. Without her speed and ability to find our preferred reservations quickly, I think our trip would have been a disaster.
Joseph Jaber was a wonderful surprise. We had not expected such talent and expertise. He was so much more than a driver. He really was a personalized tour guide. He was always on time, kept us nourished (waters and fruits), and took us to the best places, sometimes not on the itinerary. Beatriz and I are an inquisitive couple and we asked lots of questions about Jordan—its history and its people. Joseph was an encyclopedia of knowledge and a story-teller. What a wonderful person he is; he is a true gentleman and a superb driver.
Thank you Jordan Select for an extraordinary trip. I have recommended you to the Costa Rica travel agency with whom we had started ….hopefully they will contact you and thereby provide superb in-country service to all of Costaricans.
By the way, I am a former hotel and travel agency owner here in Costa Rica….I think I have the experience to recognize exceptionally great service when I receive it. You must be very proud of Yasmin and Joseph.
