We could not be happier. Our hotel accommodations were perfect and the
travel arrangements were very smooth. Everything worked the way it was
supposed to work, which is the sign of a well planned trip.
We would like to extend a special thanks to our driver and guide, Mr. Firas
A. Beool, who did an excellent job of driving us, arranging for
English-speaking local guides, and teaching us about the rich culture,
customs, and history of Jordan. As much as we enjoyed visiting the historic
sites, our visit was enriched by Firas. He ‘rescued’ us from local taxi
drivers and uncooperative border guards at the Allenby border crossing,
helped us navigate around a traffic jam on the King’s Highway in Tefila
caused by a spontaneous University graduation party (he even negotiated a
police escort around the traffic jam!), and brought us chilled ice water
after a long and hot day of hiking in Petra. He patiently answered our
thousands of questions. Firas is generous, kind, thoughtful, and he became
our friend as well as our guide. Jordan Select Tours could not have a
better representative than Firas Beool.
