Several weeks ago, we were lucky enough to travel throughout Jordan with Jordan Select Tours. It was one of the best choices we could have made for our first visit to Jordan.
We were very grateful early on to be able to communicate with Iris Tan, who provided a comprehensive itinerary for a private tour that fit both our timeframe and budget. We saw so much throughout our trip (including the Dead Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum), but never felt rushed. Iris somehow managed to strike the perfect balance between an ambitious and leisurely pace of travel, keeping in frequent contact with us before our departure from New York and even reaching out to us by phone during the trip to check in on us.
Our favorite part of this trip was Sufyan Akileh. He is the most attentive, flexible, and friendly tour guide we have come across in all of our experiences traveling abroad. Sufyan was a pro in scheduling, adding stops along the way when something piqued our interest or skipping stops when we were ready for rest. He provided snacks and drinks that we enjoyed on our daily road trips. He put us at ease, keeping the mood light by sharing jokes, and impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the culinary arts. We give Sufyan full credit for our newfound appreciation of maqluba! It was clear to us that we were in the good hands of someone with many years of experience in the industry. All of this makes Sufyan truly an asset to your company.
We would like to express our many thanks to you and your team for giving us a home away from home this spring. Both Theo and I felt safe, comfortable, and extremely fortunate to be able to explore such a beautiful country with some of the friendliest and most helpful people in the world.
