Souq Al Bukharieh
One of the oldest markets in Amman, when you walk into Souk EL Boukharieh, you see the cultural mix between old and new. The storefronts are all decorated with beautiful goods ranging from ceramic artifacts to ancient embroidered textiles, bamboo and clay products from which old household items are made, as well as musical instruments such as rababah, oud and tambourine, and many ancient antiques that you won’t find in other markets. What makes the Souk so special is the unique neighborly relation between the owners of these shops, as they inherited from their parents and grandparents.
