I am writing to you today to commend you for the services provided to my partner and I during our recent trip (14th July 2013 – 21st July 2013) to Jordan.
As first-time visitors to the country, and an Arab state in general, we were nervous and apprehensive regarding what to expect. However, upon meeting our driver & guide (Wadji) at the airport we immediately felt safer and welcomed to the country, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time to the full extent. On the roads, we were nervous as to the different style of motoring we experienced in comparison to that of the UK. However, as a driver Wadji was courteous, professional and reassuring, making us constantly feel safe whether it be on a city street, highway or desert road. In regards to the service we received, Wadji was incredibly polite and chivalrous – always opening the door for my partner, and asking how we were. He was always willing to go out of the way for us, putting our trip first-and-foremost to any personal issues he may have had, to help make our experience within Jordan the best it can be. Throughout our journey’s he also displayed vast knowledge of the country, detailing the history and landmarks of the area we were passing, answering any questions we had. I can safely say that without the service, professionalism and enthusiasm Wadji provided during our stay, our holiday in Jordan wouldn’t have been the same.
We were also very happy with the service and choice of excursions we received as part of our package, booked through “Mosaic Holidays” in the United Kingdom. All the guides were highly knowledgeable about the area and provided local stories and myths that helped to set a more personal picture about the site. I also feel the choices of excursions (Jerash, Ajlun, Amman, Petra, Madaba, Kerak, Mt Nebo) gave a deep and complex view of the many characteristics of Jordan, allowing us to experience all aspects of the country.
