I wanted to take a moment to thank you and the staff at Jordan Select Tours who helped to make our one-week tour of Jordan (July 16-22, 2013) such an interesting and enjoyable experience. In particular, I would like to say that Miss Diala Al Ayoubi was extremely helpful, courteous and patient with the queries that I made from the time I first contacted her. In planning our trip, she responded to all of my questions and requests in a very timely and professional manner with clear explanations and good suggestions. In addition, Mr. Qais Bader made good company with his friendly and professional way of getting us around Jordan. He was quite knowledgeable of the sites that we visited and of Jordan as a whole. He was more than willing and able to answer all the questions that we had about Jordan.
With regards to the tour itself, we found the sites that we visited fascinating and we were satisfied with the accommodation and meals that were provided. We were happy to pay for guides at the sites that were not included in our tour package (Ajlun, the Citadel, Mt. Nebo) but we were wondering if these could not have been included in the overall package, even at an increased price. Also, I realize that tips to guides and others are completely up to the traveler, but we would appreciate having some guidelines of what is an appropriate amount.
Overall, our tour of Jordan left us with a very positive feeling and many good memories that we’ll hold for years to come.
