Although Jordan Tourism Board’s managing director announced the news that both EasyJet and Ryanair will be resuming flights to Amman and Aqaba starting in October, flights schedules were brought forward and started in July with Ryanair’s direct route to Paphos, Cyprus and will expand to cover all the usual Ryanair routes through Amman, with convenient direct flights at very competitive prices.
This comes at a time when infections are coming under control, and vaccinations in Jordan are gathering pace. The government also announced the easing of curfew hours (which will only be from midnight till 6 am daily). It is expected that tourism will be recovering nicely starting from September of this year.
